To reach its aim, the Samiti is working on the following:
Encouraging cow keeping
Motivating farmers and cow keepers to rear, protect and breed indigenous cows, based on their qualities and benefits.
Zero-cost farming
Encouraging farmers to take up zero-cost natural farming by showing its importance and benefits.
Good-breed cows and bulls
Helping farmers get good-breed indigenous cows suited to the local climate, and access to good-breed bulls (Nandi).
Panchgavya product training
Training in making about 30–35 traditional panchgavya-based wellness products, and arranging their sale.
Panchgavya home care
Training in making panchgavya soap, shampoo, dhoop, phenyl and tooth powder, and arranging their sale.
Dairy-based livelihoods
Encouraging cow-ghee, milk-powder, bakery and pure milk-ghee-khoa sweet businesses, creating jobs and providing pure food.
Free veterinary advice
A vet every month, at the Samiti's own cost, gives free advice and treatment to the Godham's cows and to nearby farmers' animals.
Panchgavya in worship and life
Encouraging the use of pure panchgavya in worship and in daily life.
Cow-dung crafts and the environment
To reduce polythene, training young people to make paper, carry bags, handmade paper, lamps (diyas), dung cakes and dhoop from cow-dung fibre, so they can earn a living.
Panchgavya Gurukulam
Training skilled Gavyacharyas through a Panchgavya Gurukulam, towards a healthy, self-reliant society.
Reviving Go-Grass
Encouraging every household to revive the tradition of Go-Grass, setting aside the first portion of food for the cow.
Empowering rural women
Economic empowerment of rural women through cow-based enterprises.

A model gaushala and panchgavya training centre
All this work depends on protecting, breeding and caring for indigenous cows. So the Samiti seeks suitable land and resources from the gau sevak community, the government and the wider system, to build a balanced, model gaushala and a panchgavya training centre.
